Can't tell who is the fastest yet, all the top guys are doing 25s laps, no one broke the 25s barrier yet.

Surikarn
This would be Hayato's car.
To the best of my memory, Maifield did a fastest lap of 24.8xxs, while Masami did a 25.XXXs, here are some of my pictures:

4WD Practice Runs

I can't say for sure, as I don't have all the run records, but I chance upon some run times, Hayato's best lap clock in at 26.7s with 11 laps at 5:08, Surikarn was doing 27s laps and if my memory serves me right, I remember seeing Masami doing a 25.XXXs

That's it for 2WD

I'm pooped, so I'll start again in 2 days time for 4WD. And I'll go digitize my videos from my trusty Panasonic vidcam to stick up into youtube.

2007 iFMAR 2WD EP Champion

Hayato of Japan, he is also the TQ.
Tebo finished 2nd
Maifield finished 3rd

Masami finished 4th

Hayato, the new boy under HotBodies arm nail it with a perfect run in round 3. Masami was chasing hard, well maybe (in my own personal opinion) too hard. Masami made 3 mistakes that got his bug flipped over so Masami's round 3 was pretty much over midway. Hayato have a good clean start which left the mid section of the crowd to slug it out. It was a well competed and professionally slug fest out there, so I guess that gave Hayato an added edge.

Round 2, we see Masami putting on a fantastic fight for pole with Hayato. It was really a tooth and nail fight, right till the last hairpin after the dino egg section. Masami was seen to be all set to take the leaf off Hayato from the left straight - which is Masami's strong area, but alas, luck was not with Masami, his bug lost traction temporarily and by the time he got it back, Hayato cleared his win in round 2. It was really a trilling round 2.

We saw a repeat of such tension with Matt Griffin in his D Main win down to his last lap. Congrats Matt for winning the D Mains.

Drivers getting into the driver stand, I miss Hayato on this one, he was first to walk in and I was not fast enough with my fingers on the start button. :-)

Hayato bump another car in the front group, at the triple jump in front of the driver stand (I miss this as I was in charge of the middle group), so he got a "Stop & Go" penalty from Dallas (iFMAR Referee).

This just happened

Very Draft Report

Hayato TQ the 2WD and Masaki drop to position 6

Round 5

Well we just completed Round 5 of the 2WD EP Buggy qualifying. In my OWN personal opinion, it was a disaster for Masami, being in Heat 10 and so was on the first heat of this round, he could only manage 31s laps. While Hayato is in Heat 8 and was in the last heat of the whole round, Hayato turn in a 27.xxx fastest lap and finish with a very good 11 lap result.

On another note, I've seen Surikarn at the HPI / HotBodies tentage, so he is here for 4WD.

According to Masaki-san this is the ZX5-S

12 Sep 07 Time Stamp 9:24 am

Okay, the International Jury and the Organizers have come to an agreement to hold back round 5 for an hour to let the track dry out. We had rain last night and the track is pretty wet.

You probably have the results for the first 4 rounds, but just in case, here's what I got: So after 4 rounds, we have a point tie for the top position with Masami having an edge over Hayato due to a faster finishing time on his best result. This greatly affects round 5 because of the rain, because Masami is in heat 10 and in round 5, the heat order is 9, 10, 1, 2 to 8. While Hayato's heat is heat 8, if I remember correctly. So the above delay would greatly level out the round 5 results and would be a lot fairer. That is why the International Jury and the Organizers agreed to it.

So after 4 rounds here is the top rankings
1. Masami Japan 308 pts
2. Hayato Japan 308 pts
3. Mike Truhe USA 307 pts
4. Ryan Maifield USA 307 pts
5. Ryan Cavalieri USA 304 pts
6. Tebo USA 301 pts
7. Masatsugu Japan 300 pts
8. Hiroshi Japan 297 pts
9. Paul Bradby Great Britain 296 pts
10. Lee martin Great Britain 296 pts
